About GripLine™

GripLine™ was born on a flag football field when our kids kept saying the same thing during and after the game: "My hands are too sweaty. The ball keeps slipping." As parents, we saw the frustration. As competitors, we saw the problem. And as builders, we saw an opportunity.

We realized athletes everywhere deal with moisture, grip, and performance issues that no one was solving in a simple, integrated way. Instead of adding another accessory, we decided to build the solution directly into the gear. What began at a kitchen table evolved into a purpose-built performance short engineered with a moisture management system designed to help athletes keep their hands dry, stay confident, and ensure control when it matters most.

Our co-founder Trevor Lewis has relentlessly pursued athlete feedback and driven prototype improvements in order to ensure function and fit from day one. With a background in Materials Engineering from Virginia Tech, our co-founder Mark Briguglio focused on fabric science, function, and test results — ensuring performance isn't marketing hype, it's measurable. But this isn't just about fabric. It's about giving athletes confidence. It's about eliminating excuses. It's about raising the standard.  It's about ensuring athletes have the ability to Control Every Play™.

We're building GripLine™ to become the standard in flag football — and eventually, across multiple sports, where dry hands drive peak performance in meaningful moments. We are NextGen Performance (NXGP), based in Atlanta Georgia, proudly manufacturing locally in the USA, and we're just getting started.
